Ready For Another Season in Alaska.

As I gear up for another season with Tikchik Narrows Lodge(TNL). I start to look back on the past winter and the early spring and realize that Colorado winters suck unless you get out and embrace it and we did not. The Spring has been real nice and Holly and I have gotten out a few times to do a little fishing on the Arkansas River and the Conejos River in the Southwestern part of the state. If you ever want to see the most beautiful part of CO then this is the place.

Back to the rant at hand. The 2010 season with TNL should be a great one, it is going to be hard to top the 2009 one but I sure it can be done. I will have a better fill of what goes on and will find some time this year to get in a little fishing of my own. I plan to catch a rainbow that tops out above ten pounds this year. Holly Gets to come and join me for a week of fishing at the end of July. This will help with the loneliness and also get her a chance see what draws me to the promise land.

That's enough for now. I will post a few photos of the spring fishing and you can be the judge of how beautiful the Conejos river area is. Oh, one more thing if you are into the bigfoot legend like Holly and I are he has been seen roaming the woods along the river valley. Just a little reminder to keep your head up while in the pinnacles area.

So long for now and lets hope I can keep this blog updated a little better than before.
